memory management in the brain

I read a nice concept how to accumulate good experience and thoughts. Just when you face with a unexpected situation, store only the positive aspects in your memory. This can be achieved by repeatedly thinking about the positive attitude. Conversely, eliminate negative experiences through continuous deletion of the thoughts from your mind. This will be already achieved through above repetation of the positive experience.
So, when you look into your past experiences it would have accumulated only the good resources.
