SHORT STORY: GOD’S GUIDANCE PRINCIPLE

A lone man suddenly rose from deep slumber and was shocked to find his house blazing with fire everywhere. He peeped through window for help and found surprisingly, the God standing near his house. He was a stern believer in God and spent all his life in devotion to the Ultimate Saviour. He implored God to save his life from the flaring fire. But, the God was careless of his earnest demand and was engrossed on something. Got Anger on God and felt that it is of no use of depending on God, the man searched for some tools to escape. He found a fire extinguisher lying near him and he used it to escape through an opening. Infuriated with anger for not showing blessing on his ardent devotee, he disrespected the God, “I wasted my whole life on praying and propagating your greatness! How cruel your nature is!” But, the empathetic God replied in calm and benevolence, “Courageous child! Foreseeing the problem, it was I who placed the fire extinguisher in your room a day before.”

Many times, bad experiences perceived from high cognizance turn out to be a perfect protection of the Infinite Potential. Our constrained knowledge and intelligence fails to gain awareness of guidance mechanism of the Omnipotent’s influence on us. The God’s guidance on earthly beings is based on his fundamental intention of holistic growth of his children in their lifetime. The challenges experienced by living organisms on earth can be considered as a basic training or teaching exercise of God. Those, who endure the training or challenges, successfully emerge, exist and succeed in life. The rest, failing organisms, impotent to endure the challenges are wiped out without consideration. In scientific terms, it may be called, “survival of fittest.”

Perfection, Individuality, Autonomy, Confidence, Patience, truth, courage to face life and clarity in thinking are the characteristics the Omniscience tries to imbibe on us and he expects his children to develop into complete enriched beings on earth.

The core concept expressed in the words of Swami Vivekananda: “If you have faith in all the three hundred and thirty millions of your mythological gods and still have no faith in yourselves, there is no salvation for you. Have faith in yourselves, and stand up on that faith and be strong; that is what we need.” So, the God guidance intention can be summarised as ‘a phenomenon of gradual development of autonomy in living beings by increasing the faith on their resources and abilities, with Almighty’s protection working background.’

SOLUTION FOR LIFE TROUBLES – RELATIONSHIP

Few years from today, every people in the world believed that the problems and troubles prevailing in the society can only alleviated through money or material riches. They believed, “Because, money gives position, joy, peace, respect, etc. Earning money should be the ultimate objective of life.” Superiority in life was decided on the basis of the amount men accumulated. Society was discriminated on the basis on money. People even gave vent to fraudulent means for earning material incomes. “Getting something out of nothing” started to propagate in the society.

God got vexed about the attitude by which humans have got civilized. To edify and stir up human’s intellect, the infinite intelligence (god) incarnated on earth and planned to gift each family with a magical chest. The god exclaimed, “Oh humans! This magical box has the peculiar property to double material riches every month. But, with one condition, you can draw and invest only once to solve your life troubles.”

People got pleased in experiencing God’s resourceful blessings. With leaving sufficient resources needed for living, they invested rest of the resources in the magical chest.

Number of months crossed without single withdrawal from deposit. Because, the families had the motive of increased riches and they allowed incrimination of the account indefinitely for higher outcomes.

In the period of probation of the magical box, they tried to solve day to day problems without monetary factors. They contemplated “relationship and unity factor” as a solving guide to life-problems in the place of money. With new realisation, people experienced much peaceful life than what they had with money. Society reformed with harmony getting established and became renewed as an intellectual relationship centre.

With relationship as primary importance, material riches became secondary.

INCARNATION OF GOD

An orphan artist, who was an atheist made living through creative artworks. For last one week, he was afflicted with fever and it became severe without proper care. He thought his diseased body would get destroyed this night. To ascertain about his friend’s absence for past one week, a neighbourly friend entered atheist’s house as a saving soul. When the neighbour found his friend required immediate action to save his life, he smartly acted to transfer his friend to a hospital.

The atheist’s life was saved through neighbour’s shrewd selfless action. After complete recovery, atheist returned from hospital. He took his drawing-board outside and started his painting job. His neighbour, who was enjoying his Sunday newspaper reading, approached him to query about health. The neighbour spoke to the atheist with friendly smile, “What are you drawing, my friend?” The atheist replied, “I am depicting my God!” The neighbour got surprised to look at sudden change in atheist belief after physical deterioration.

On understanding the completion of artwork by atheist, the neighbour came to observe picture of God drew by the novice believer. The neighbour astounded to see his picture being engraved as a God.

In our life, we face like atheist in above story with many Gods, for instance, by showing her love, mother becomes God. By providing his guidance, father becomes God. By helping us during compelling situation, a friend becomes God. Our brothers, sisters become God by sharing what they considered as priceless resource. By rendering treatment to an ailing person, a doctor and a nurse become God. So, we observe many such people getting manifested as God before us.

This is spiritual secret behind every living. God has made human as social living because he knows he could not incarnate to save every soul. Observe God in every human, we might discover an enchanting life.
