WISDOM - DEEP ROOTED INTELLIGENCE

An experienced, intelligent fisherman was trekking in wild forest guiding his son, a novice fisherman. They were in an adventurous discovery for a new water source. After traversing over long distance, the son’s intellect spurred a reason. In order to defuse his reason, he queried his father, “Father, how we can distinguish wisdom endowed men from amoral? What factors distinguishes them?” Before the father could answer this question, they heard sweet, drizzling sounds of water, indicating water source nearby.

With expectation high, the son and father hurried towards it. Observing the serene, undisturbed, streamline flow of water, the son exclaimed cheerfully, “At last, we have identified a new water source for our livelihood. The undisturbed surface of water promotes more aquatic life. Hurry up father! We can jump into the shallow water and start fishing.”

The father stopped his exited son and after deep intellectual introspection, he provided an apt reply to suit both of his son’s intelligent question and ignorant understanding about river’s nature. The father’s reply was: “Son, peaceful and controlled river surfaces represent unobservable presence of deep troughs. Similarly, controlled action backed with thoughts and pacified behaviour represents intangible presence of deep rooted intellectual intelligence!”

RULE IT EDIFY: Deep and independent thinking represents qualities of wisdom. The potential of layers of crude oil hoarded inside earth’s crust is unidentifiable until it is drilled and purified into petrol in the automobile engines, which drives the world. Similarly, the powers of men can be attained by drilling out infinite power accumulated inside them. The power sometimes might be called as mind power. Deeper the thinking process, deeper the intelligence.
