CREATIVITY CONQUERS

They were the first company to introduce electronic clocks in the world. After its introduction, the company was ruling the electronic clock market. But, now, their market share had declined because number of its competitors started to produce and market electronic clocks efficiently. The head of the company worried about the company’s performance said, “Our product share in the market are crippling day by day. Though, we make good investment, our competitors are having upper hand.” The chief organised an urgent meeting in which top official and number of employees of the company were invited prepare agenda to alleviate their failures.

On the day of meeting, an employee of the company reached the meeting venue an hour late. His employer knowing his frequent late arrivals for past one month strictly directed: “You professionalism is worst and you don’t value anything for the company. But, I give you last chance! If you were able provide best idea to our discussion, you could have a place in the company, otherwise,
renounce the job!”

Fearing about his future, the employee was standing outside the room. The security at the meeting hall to have a friendly chat, sought the reason for his
dejected mood. “I usually rise early in the morning before an hour when my neighbouring church-bell hits. But, for past one month, I leave my bed only when the church-bell rings. I have become too lazy these days. It created a problem to me.” The watchman as a friendly exchange of joke expressed: “If the church-bell was inside your clock, you might have got up early during those days” and chuckled.
The conversation kindled an idea in employee’s mind which
sprouted as “Alarm clock” and explaining his creativity, his job became secure and company’s picked up towards higher profit margin.

“Creativity” and “awareness to opportunity” aids life equivalent to what education might provide.

WHAT WE LOOK? RIGHT OR WRONG

Our character is designed not only from what we possess, but also from what we are looking for. When “Right character and attitude” is our objective and if we move towards it intensively, definitely we will reach towards it, as iron fillings cling towards magnet from a mass of sand.

A father pleaded earnestly to his spiritual guru, “My Lord, my son is worst in character, his relationship with others is rude, and makes an inane living. Kindly edify him!” The spiritual guru endowed with impeccable appearance filled with deep radiance approached the son and spoke kindly, “My son! Your father has directed you to travel across the world with a magic box, which I am going to present to you. Please fill with a coin, whenever you observe virtuous, noble minded men. If you succeed to fill it to its brim, you have every right to appropriate your father’s hoarded property. Be careful! If you try to cheat, the magical power bewitched in the box will inform your father and you will lose your righteous riches.”

Experiencing kind approach, striking personality of the spiritual master, the obstinate son developed a deep respect on him and immediately accepted the wager. After several days of travel, the son returned to his homeland. But, the father was astonished to see, the box which his son had carried was left empty. The father with agonized failure moved towards the abode of spiritual master with his son.

The guru queried softly, “My son, why you failed in your objective?” The son replied, “Dear Lord, the box was filled number of days before, but when I was returning, I found an old women living in abject poverty afflicted with painful disease. Because, I didn’t have sufficient money from my side, I donated the stored coins for her betterment. At that instant, I felt the woman’s life greater than my father’s riches!” After observing remarkable attitudinal revolution, the guru filled the box with a coin recognising presence of noble personality endowed in son.

The son got transformed into a right personality when his vision was towards right people. Moving towards wisdom will fills us with wisdom.

SIMPLE SENTENCES BUT DEEP INTELLECTUAL EXPLANATIONS

1. It is difficult for a blindfolded man to ascertain the age of the person standing before him. Similarly, it is difficult for a man who is blindfolded with “fear” to identify his talents.

2. Every action and thoughts of men are done for their infinite need for peace of mind.

3. Even the richest of rich is still dependent on others.

4. We shouldn’t speak of others, but get spoken by others.

5. Impossible achievements are done by those who destroy other’s impossibilities.

6. Our nation may be along success trajectory only when we observe a “house full” board outside a “library” rather than in “cinema halls.”

Don’t “expect” the outcome of your effort; rather “estimate” how much effort you have lend for that.
Do what you can do, and if you can’t do, God will do what you can’t do.

WHY WE FAIL IN OUR ULTIMATE GOAL?

Nearly 98 out of 100 men fail in their ultimate major objective.

1. Failures occur mainly due to failure in identifying the right path towards fixed destination.

2. Failures may be due to drifting: shifting to new objectives due to defeat in preceding objectives.

3. Improper knowledge and less devotion to our ultimate purpose may propel us towards failures.

4. Failures to interrelate with others in our activities and lacking team work.

5. Giving priority to quantity rather than quality in both men and material undertaking.

6. Failure to forecast effect of our actions and lack of planning.

7. We design big objectives and fail to develop big competences. Failures may occur due to the tendency in obtaining success out of nothing. People expect more but don’t do more. “There is only single shortcut way to success, it is hard work”

There are two types of failures,
1. Failures faced, even after investment of our resource,
2. Failures faced, with no investment.
While first type of defeat may ultimately lead towards success, the second type will cumulatively lead towards failures.

WISDOM - DEEP ROOTED INTELLIGENCE

An experienced, intelligent fisherman was trekking in wild forest guiding his son, a novice fisherman. They were in an adventurous discovery for a new water source. After traversing over long distance, the son’s intellect spurred a reason. In order to defuse his reason, he queried his father, “Father, how we can distinguish wisdom endowed men from amoral? What factors distinguishes them?” Before the father could answer this question, they heard sweet, drizzling sounds of water, indicating water source nearby.

With expectation high, the son and father hurried towards it. Observing the serene, undisturbed, streamline flow of water, the son exclaimed cheerfully, “At last, we have identified a new water source for our livelihood. The undisturbed surface of water promotes more aquatic life. Hurry up father! We can jump into the shallow water and start fishing.”

The father stopped his exited son and after deep intellectual introspection, he provided an apt reply to suit both of his son’s intelligent question and ignorant understanding about river’s nature. The father’s reply was: “Son, peaceful and controlled river surfaces represent unobservable presence of deep troughs. Similarly, controlled action backed with thoughts and pacified behaviour represents intangible presence of deep rooted intellectual intelligence!”

RULE IT EDIFY: Deep and independent thinking represents qualities of wisdom. The potential of layers of crude oil hoarded inside earth’s crust is unidentifiable until it is drilled and purified into petrol in the automobile engines, which drives the world. Similarly, the powers of men can be attained by drilling out infinite power accumulated inside them. The power sometimes might be called as mind power. Deeper the thinking process, deeper the intelligence.

TITBITS OF THOUGHTS

Short lines with long intellectual definitions,

  • Beauties of flowers are not determined by where it grows, but what it expresses to others.

  • It doesn’t require any super-effort to destroy our character, but definitely, it requires tremendous effort to construct our character.

  • Super-success doesn’t represent simple controlling of vehicles in aiding light, but it is effective manoeuvring even in presence of opposing lights.

  • Material happiness formed by interdependence – might lead to dependence
Internal or perfect spiritual ecstasy formed by independence – might lead to endless joy.

  • Making character as top of our life might promote us towards roof of the world.

LIMITLESS EXTENSIBLE CORD – HUMAN COMPETENCE

His boss abused him before his colleagues, for his ill-professional performance. His manager has sought complete answer for his failures and failing to answer may result in elimination from his position. Deeply thinking about his future and observing his child’s activities, he was standing near the window to find a solution to his problems. His son’s activities attracted his concentration. His six-year old son was trying to move a heavy car parked in the garage. After several desperate failures and understanding impossibility, the boy stood before the car with hands clasped on his hip and challenged, “You have defeated me now because I am in first-grade. But, when I grow big and attain my tenth-grade, I will surely defeat you. Because, you can’t grow as I could!” This childish ignorant conversation brought a revelation to his problems. So, on introspection and he found the way to succeed his difficulties. He charged up with following thoughts, “At present, problems may overcome me, but in future, I will overcome my problems because as a human, I am manipulatively modifiable but problems cannot!”

Edmund Hillary, after experiencing series of failures in conquering the Mount Everest, challenged it before he receded, “I will return back and defeat you, because, you are just a mountain, you can’t grow anymore. But, I am a human capable of limitless growth.” With more talents acquired and directed preparations, Edmund Hillary dominated the indomitable.

RULE IT STIMULATES: Human competencies might reach towards infinity while his impossibilities tend towards zero. This idea is accredited by the capability of human’s envision beyond what he visions. With power of mind, he powers human life with his incredible achievements. Example of it can be found in men’s scientific breakthrough in space explorations, medical advancements, telecommunication networks, etc.

It triggers universal truth: “What is capable by one is still capable by anyone.” The factor differentiates super talents from rest is his attitude and character towards his objectives. Human abilities are limitless extensible cord determined by his thoughts and actions.

OH LORD! SAVE MY PEOPLE’S LIFE!

A passenger ship was sailing on mighty water under coarse weather conditions. The captain on the board felt manoeuvring ship under such contingency situations is impossible with his ill-prepared crews. A group of passengers rushed towards the captain to know about frequent harsh wagging movement of ship, which made their travel inconvenient. The captain, in order to defuse the fear, replied calmly, “No problem with the situation, it rarely happens; we will take care of it!” But, sudden collapse of ship’s stability added passenger’s fear. Understanding the critical situation, the passengers begin to cry for help towards ubiquitous God. One man cried, “Oh God! Save me.” Another man exclaimed, “Oh God! Help your faithful devotee.” But, they couldn’t find any changes and they felt, they would get destroyed by the action of nature.

A young soldier was travelling in the ship; he was heavily wounded in countering enemies at frontlines in war field. Because of, improper treatment facilities, his health got deprived and became chronically ill. Understanding emergency situation in ship and critical necessity of guidance, the soldier prayed emotionally towards perverse God and died instantaneously. After his death, his deep empathic words created equilibrium in prevailing disturbing weather and ship regained its normal composure.

The people understanding soldier’s saving words and to pay obeisance to the departed soul, moved towards the soldier’s cabin. When a man asked about the powerful words he uttered to save their life, the neighbour of the soldier replied, “You didn’t observe his emotional enthusiasm, with which he articulated that powerful phrase: Oh Lord! Save my people’s life?”

LIGHT IT TURNS: What created revolution is not selfish thinking; it is soldier’s deep rooted holistic thinking. “Save me”, “Help your faithful devotee”, “Help me” didn’t attracted saviour’s guiding limb but “Save my people!” by a man even when life was at stake attracted god’s guidance. So, it provides a natural rule in life, riches or material quantities replenish itself, when intension is overall development of society. When self-gratification is the objective, the material quantity deplete with time.

Andrew Carnegie, a multi-millionaire during early 20th century explained rule with which he conquered indomitable accomplishment, “When I thought of creating number of my employees as millionaire, in that process, I became a billionaire.”

PRESENT PERFECT IMPLIES PAST PERFECT

Happenings in life are much analogous to Daily-Sheet calendar. When next day turns, the previous day’s date-sheet goes towards dust bin, while present day's date-sheet set affixed in the calendar, due of its usefulness. This implies living at past days are waste, living in present day is needed. Past is only a matter of memory, wipe out when it is negative, cherish when it is positive. But, many people ponder over past while wasting their pleasant present. Many people are remaining “past” perfect while certain some are daring to remain to “present” perfect.

Swami Sukhabonanda describes importance of present living and focussed future through an intellectual imaginary incident. A man entered into a dark room, in one side of massive hall, he observed a staircase. He started to climb on the staircase to reach top. As he was ascending in the steps, he found that the flight of steps he was traversing were endless. Suddenly, he stood for a moment and looked back at the steps he had traversed. A flash to light came which acquainted him that as he climbed each steps, the steps got disappeared. Now, in confusion, whether to reach top end or how to retrieve towards starting point, he stood in dilemma in the present step.

What inference this small incident gives us? Swami sukhabonanda says “Only thing that confused man can do is that he can stand at the present step indefinitely or move towards top indefinitely. If he thinks to slide back, it is impossible since the steps have got disappeared. So indirectly it defines a rule in life, we are climbing in steps of life, each days are steps and it gets disappear when days ends. It is waste to think of past days because it is lost. But, we can enjoy abundantly by staying at present or move forward towards future days.”

This gives a knowledge that fully utilised present lays foundation for satisfied past and better focussed future. Present perfect implies past perfect.

CHARACTER – ASSET OF LIFE

There was a cruel, animalistic natured human lived in a village with long list of sinful deeds like murder, theft, trafficking, etc. He lived in seclusion so that he might not be identified by his wicked activities.

One day, an unusual incident occurred. His door was knocked by someone. With fear in his heart, the thief opened the door. He could observe a serene faced motherly woman with tears in her face stood before him. Expecting help, she asked, “I have lost my son long ago when we went for an excursion. I am searching for him past 10 years, Have you ever observed him?” On speaking thus, she stretched her hand with a photo of his son. The hard minded thief asked, “How many sons do you have?” Mother replied, “Ten sons.” Surprised, the thief queried astonishingly, “What made you to travel ten years in search of a son when you posses 10 sons to make pleasure living?” The mother replied, “Because, he was the only good natured son!”

The mother’s answer stroke new emotional thunder in the hard cored human and became a new revelation about the honest, virtuous living to him.

RULE IT TURNS: Character is a pride of life. Just make a small introspection “What is the gain we attain in helping a poor man?” The intension behind such noble action is not a financial gain but an emotional gain. Character is the mantra portrayed in every religious scripture. One of the famous books on success living had a statement, “Talents will help us achieve success but character will keep us successful.”

Money gives position in society of men but character gives position in hearts of men.

INDIVIDUALITY VALUABLE, MUTUALITY INVALUABLE

This happened before eight years, I was playing with my group the badminton game near my house, when traffic in the street was minimal. We formulated following rules in our game:
1. Every player will be given a chance to play, which will move in a cyclic order.
2. A person will be eliminated; once he misses to hit the cork (even touching the cork with racket will be considered as hit).
3. A player may be considered as winner when he faces more number of opponents or remain in the field for full round time.
4. Each round will go for 10 minutes.

Though it may seem childish, it was interesting during those formative days. In order to express our individuality, our objective was to face every onslaught of opponents and make them to eliminate from the field, so that we can conquer the game.

A race started between my friend, a school athlete and me, I tried much to eliminate him but in contrast, I was removed. He got overjoyed by my defeat and started to show his monarchy in his game. He was the winner in every round, we played.

But, a district athlete from nearby street, entered into our game. The district athlete with his intense competence stood as an unconquerable winner. For two days, none of the boys from our street could face his fierce attack.

Now, in order to succeed the new comer, we understood our individuality will not work. We joined hands, we formed a powerful link, and we planned and designed stratagems to destroy the powerful opponent. Mutual thinking helped us in identification of weak point were district athlete was making mistakes. We prepared to hit at weak point recurrently and destroy him, when opportunity lends.

I got an opportunity and I made it happened, the district athlete was defeated. Now, my friend with whom I planned became my opponent. To show “my” individuality and to succeed, I must eliminate other. Instead, I made my opponent to remain in field for long time; in turn he aided me to remain. Whenever, cross hits were made inadvertently, we managed to maintain our synchronism. Thus, “we” succeed by remaining in field for 8 minutes through mutuality.

RULE IT TURNS: Stephen Covey says “Interdependence is more valuable than independence.” For normal success, individuality aids, for super success, mutuality aids. Just refer every accomplishments in past, everything was achieved, through congruent relationships of multiple men, lead by a leader. Organisation success parameters are destined not in ways a man works, but how its men work. In industry, there is no monarchic man, but there are only monarchic men. So, we inculcate, “Directed group always directs accomplishments.”

PANACEA TO UNIVERSAL PROBLEMS

A group of high intellectual scientists from various parts of the world, worked for 100 years to accomplish a mega project which lead to the creation of a supercomputer which was 1000 times super in intelligence than human thinking. The creators exposed its power by its capability to offer solutions in arithmetic, psychological, scientific, and technological problems. Further, beyond normal imagination, it was capable of rendering solutions to social, financial, and political problems afflicted in society. After its introduction, the creators made the super-brainy open source, so that its intelligence may be made universal through internet.

Millions of question got fired towards super-computer and answers were dispatched within seconds. A question of form, “What is the spanning length between earth and another earth?” was answered within half a second, which astonished even the designers.

To harness its capability to provide solutions to life problems, myriad of men started to pose questions to obtain answers to their unanswered life difficulties. “I work hard in my life than my competitors, while they succeed I fail, why?” “I have good professional life, but poor family life?” “I am frowned by my actions, I lack good relationships?” “My nation doesn’t develop from several decades of recession, provide a solution?” “My position offers much power, but I couldn’t utilise it properly. Please! render useful answer?” and like this millions of questions were asked. But, the super computer didn’t answer even to single problem. The uproar of criticism started to flow towards the creators. After an hour, the users who posed questions for their solutions had a mail in their inbox, which was forwarded by the super-computer. The mail read as follows: “SEARCH YOUR OWN HEART WITH ALL DILIGENCE FOR OUT OF IT FLOW ISSUES OF LIFE.”

Solutions to problems are already available abundantly inside; we have the responsibility to identify it. Lord Buddha got acquainted about universal wisdom after drilling down himself through meditation for days for finding solutions to problems perplexing his mind. Our mind lends solutions freely to our problems which occur in our day to day life. One distinguishing factor is that for every solution it provides, it mixes powerful faith along with solutions.

How “our” perception indicates, so varies the world. How “our” thinking habits, so expresses situations. How “our” vision, so appear pictures. How is “our” intention, so is our action. Here, “our” indicates variation of external influence through our internal competence.

FOOD TO OUR THOUGHTS

The four souls which can express unconditional love,
1. The God
2. Parents
3. Spouse
4. True Friends

Two opulent nations in present era, which are those rich in,
1. Oil reserve
2. Energy conservation attitude citizens

Three souls which experience unrestrained happiness are,
1. Ignorant children
2. All renounced saints
3. A Lunatic person

Two factors which definitely lead towards failure,
1. Drifting in objectives due to failures
2. Lack of faith in our ability

SHORT-SIGHTED RICHES PROMOTES DISTRESS

A restaurant had a wide board stating: “ONLY RICH MEN ARE ALLOWED INSIDE”

A man with ordinary dressing entered the restaurant with his family. The manager of the hotel blocked him and queried, “Sir, your appearance and conveyance doesn’t show any presence of opulence. Are you really rich? If not, please go out!” The man chuckled and said, “No, but I comprehended outside note differently!”

The manager with unrestrained rage asked, “What new understanding does the outer board strike you, countryman?” The man without anger but with friendly smile, requested the manager to answer simple question, he put forth.

Man: “Why you need riches?”

Manager: “To have better living through massive houses, fast automobiles, friends, nutritious food and many more what our life compels, we can easily appropriate through money”

Man: “Why you need big house, automobiles, food, and other things?”

Manager: “To lead a happy and peaceful life!”

Man: “Then, my understanding is correct and I have right to be inside!”

The man replied that he enjoy much peace and joy than what rich men with small mind possess. He exclaimed, though, he may not be rich in monetary terms; he was rich in attitudinal terms. That is the reason, why he felt himself rich on noticing the direction board.

The man left the restaurant saying: “Have you ever enjoyed a peaceful sleep, what indignant people like us experience without inflicting pain on others. That’s greatest riches, we accumulate!”

Riches can help us to buy food, but not hunger. Money can gain us bed, but not sleep. One of Kollywood’s famous films, a song verse states quality of money: “If money is less, we can control it. If money is hoarded big, we get controlled.” Attachment to money causes misery; detachment to riches leads towards happiness.

ENLIGHTENING VISION

A king made an announcement to conduct “Best Identifier Competition” to achieve harmony and peace in the country. Advertisements for competition were published on street roads and described: “Any citizen who identifies a worst citizen in the country will be awarded with a cash prize. The name of the identified worst people will be held confidential.”

On the day of competition, the participants had prepared list of names of worst personalities and their immoral doings. Every participant felt, they have ascertained large number of worst personalities and confident about success. But, one man distinguished from rest and stood for his opportunity for expose his identification.

The king came near the distinguishing participant and sought for the name of worst people. The man replied, “I am the worst person came before you to show my identity. All my youth days, I spent in wicked actions. I abandoned my parents and children. Lead a selfish life without being productive to society. I enjoyed lazy sleeps thinking of using father’s hoarded riches. I destroyed public property for self-gratification. Falsehood was my daily mantra. I couldn’t identify any person worst than me!”

Moved by citizen’s enlightenment, the king replied, “What other participants have done is simple observation, but your identification needs courage, endurance, intelligence and self-discipline to analyse. Once you have identified your real nature, you become a right virtuous personality. You are the most educated. I am sure you will never follow what you have identified within you. So, you are the best identifier!”

I pointed my friend and said, “Friend, there is a dust glued on the back of your shirt!” My friend replied, “Oh Dear thanks! But, you too have the same dust sticking on your shirt’s back!” and he pointing it and tapped the dust away from my shirt.

The dust which was clearly visible in others was invisible when it was in me. Similarly, in many incidents, negativity of others will be easy visible than ours, from our vision. We experience a mental laziness many times to examine our self before introspecting others. Similarly, in positive sense too, we may be rich with certain capability, but generate useless envy when we view others posses that capability. Reason is simple: “External examining vision is simple compared to self introspecting vision.”
