DEFEAT – A TUTOR TO SUCCESS

A child enquired to its mother about falling of the sun, “Mom, why this bright sun, which rises up eagerly at the morning, falls disputed in the afternoon!”. Mother answered, “Son, it is not falling but it is rising on other side of the earth”.

Defeat helps in developing our emotional competence. We may fail hundred, thousand, million, or trillion times but we should rise in all failures and run towards our destination. Temporary failure is a teachers or a guide, which instructs, our path towards success is wrong.

When we succeed, change our destination. When we fail, change the direction towards destination.

Many super-achievers had once experienced super-failures. But, each time they fail, they popped up themselves upper from defeat. Thomas Alva Edison failed 10,000 times before the invention of an electric bulb. When enquired about this by his co-worker, he answered, “Each time, when I fail, I learnt one way by which an electric bulb cannot be made”.

When we succeed without failures, we may fail to succeed later.

Positive attitude towards failure plays an important role towards achieving success. Defeat may be temporary or permanent is decided by attitude.

We can fail in task, but we shouldn’t fail to rise during each failure. We haven’t failed, when we introduced to world, through our mother’s womb. Failures discourage a weaker, but encourage a riser.

Remarkable success has ever been achieved without remarkable failures. Success is not winning every war but ultimate battle.

I've come to believe that all my past failure and frustrations were actually
laying the foundation for the understandings that have created the new
level of living I now enjoy - Anthony Robbins
