ATTITUDE CONQUERS ALTITUDES

Two men reached abode of God for their judgement after their death. The angel who manipulates goodness or wickedness of men was finding difficult to distinguish these two men, because they were equal in their good deeds and sins. God had already warned the angel that actions of men alone don’t add up their good deed or sins.

In order to defuse her dilemma, the angel went to God to find a solution. God directed the two men to face a test, in order ascertain their original nature. According to the test procedure, the two men will be left in heaven or hell without disclosing the original name of the place. After staying for a day, they have to identify the nature of the place.

The two men returned to God’s feet after the test. The first man replied, “My Lord, the place I was tested was heaven!” The second man replied, “My Lord, the place I was examined was hell!”

The god smiled and said to the angel, “That’s the difference! First man’s positive attitude made him look even a hell into a heaven. But, second man’s negative nature made him look a paradise into a hell. It is the attitude with which action is performed differentiates men.”

Life may be enjoyable experience or tragedy depending on clarity of our vision. A naturalist or poet enjoys eternal joy from expressing magnificence of nature, while a poacher enjoys illegal earning from destruction of nature. Based on their attitude, a poet stays in men’s heart while poacher stays behind jail. Attitude is the fuel behind men’s actions.

Attitude destroys self-formed limitations. Attitude is the reason that differentiates certain country or an organization or men to achieve continuous success compared to its failing competitors. Every organisation believes: “An untalented right attitude person could be made more productive than to reap outputs talented negative attitude person.”

“Failure is a stepping stone to success,” such a belief is formed by positive attitude. Externally, attitude rules the world, internally, attitude rules the mind.
