ABODE OF GOD

A perplexed man went to his spiritual teacher and asked, “Would you define a place, where I could find the presence of God?” The teacher requested the man to proceed towards the highest altitudes, where scriptures describe the God’s presence. The student followed his teacher’s direction.

He travelled towards the highest terrains of snow clad mountains and he was overjoyed in observing real abode of God. After reaching the highest summit, he observed God’s form available in the top peak. He was unsatisfied in viewing God’s figure. Again his mind got confused in God’s presence; he started to travel down the snow covered mountains.

Then his region experienced a heavy snow storm. He got struck under the heavy snow formation and he was about to die. He believed in God’s guidance and cried continuously, “My dear God, save me!” Our Government had earlier deployed some military rescue personnel to save the trekkers who have got struck in snow storm. They saved him from death.

As he was travelling towards his native town, he was deprived of money needed for his daily sustenance. His health condition became so weak and he begged God to save him. Within viewable distance, he observed two religious men providing free meals to the needy and they saved this starved soul.
Then a spark struck on his mind, “God’s form is available in high peak of mountains but his soul lives in every heart of humans.”

People are in search of God from the highest peak of mountains to deep trenches in oceans. It is sure; they couldn’t find one, since he lives in form of living organisms. God’s human-like figure in churches, temples etc, portrays his real abode in human’s mind. Our worldly attachments have made our senses to lose the conscious to observe God in minds of men. God guides us through his presence in form of parents and teachers, saves us in his manifestation in form of doctors, police, military, politicians etc,

QUOTE: “Let others lead small lives, but not you. Let others argue over small things, but not you. Let others cry over small hurts, but not you. Let others leave their future in someone else's hands, but not you.” - Jim Rohn
